Advantage: You can often apply for a Settlement Permit sooner. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Settlement Permit<br>A permanent residence title. It allows you to live and work in Germany indefinitely\u2014without further extensions. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>EU Long-Term Residence Permit<br>Also permanent, but designed for mobility within the EU.
